Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you are unable to attend a session you have booked, you may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled session time, free of charge, using the link in your booking confirmation email.
To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
No-Shows
If you do not attend a session you have booked and have not cancelled or rescheduled in advance, the full session fee is forfeited. No refund or credit will be issued for no-shows.
Refund Processing
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Please allow 7 to 14 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
Cancellations by Inwrd
In the rare event that Inwrd must cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as early as possible and offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer of your booking to another available session.
Late Arrivals
Sound journeys begin in stillness, and late entry disturbs the experience for all participants. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after a group session has begun, entry may not be possible and the session fee will not be refunded. Please plan to arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes early.

- Use the cancellation or reschedule link in your booking confirmation email, or
- Email us at hello@inwrdstudio.com with your booking details at least 24 hours before your session.

Inwrd ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Information We Collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, and phone number, provided when you reserve a session.
- Payment information: payments are processed securely by PayHere (Pvt) Ltd. We do not collect, view, or store your card details at any time.
- Health and wellbeing information: anything you voluntarily share with us about injuries, sensitivities, or conditions relevant to your session. This is used solely to keep your experience safe and comfortable.
How We Use Your Information
- To confirm, manage, and communicate about your bookings.
- To send you session reminders and important updates about your appointment.
- To tailor your session experience where relevant.
- With your consent, to occasionally share news about upcoming sessions and offerings.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
- We do not store your payment card details.
- We do not share health information you disclose to us with anyone outside Inwrd.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate our bookings: PayHere for payment processing and Calendly for scheduling. These services process your data under their own privacy policies. Links from our website to other websites are not covered by this policy.
Data Protection
We handle your personal information in line with the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 of Sri Lanka. Your data is kept only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

1. About Inwrd
Inwrd is a sound therapy and wellness studio based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, offering guided sound bath sessions, private sessions, and wellness workshops. By booking a session with us, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings and Payment
- Your place in a session is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
- All payments are processed securely through PayHere. Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable charges unless stated otherwise.
- After payment, you will be directed to select your preferred date and time through our scheduling system. Your booking is complete once both payment and scheduling are confirmed.
3. Nature of Our Services
Sound therapy is a complementary wellness practice intended to support relaxation, rest, and general wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis, treatment, or care. Inwrd does not provide medical services, and nothing offered in our sessions should be understood as medical advice. If you have a health condition, please consult your doctor before attending.
4. Health and Participation
- By attending, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to participate in a session involving lying or sitting still for extended periods in a sound-immersive environment.
- Please inform us in advance of any conditions that may be relevant, including pregnancy, epilepsy, sound sensitivity, recent surgery, pacemakers or other implanted devices, or serious mental health conditions, so we can advise whether and how you can participate safely.
- Participation in all sessions is voluntary and at your own risk.
5. Studio Etiquette
- Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your session begins. Late entry to group sessions may not be possible.
- Mobile phones must be switched off or silenced during sessions.
- We ask all participants to treat the space, facilitators, and fellow participants with respect. We reserve the right to refuse entry or discontinue a session for behaviour that is disruptive or unsafe, without refund.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Sri Lanka, Inwrd, its founder, facilitators, and staff shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our sessions, except where caused by our proven negligence. Personal belongings are brought to the studio at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, session names, descriptions, and visual design, is the property of Inwrd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Photography
We occasionally photograph sessions for our social media and website. We will always ask before including you in any imagery, and you may decline without affecting your participation.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms, our refund policy, or our privacy policy from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
